Death Valley Clay

 Alternating between dark and white stoneware clay keeps the creative juices flowing for me.

The darkest clay ( a clay that has a lot of iron content in it)  available at our art center was Death Valley.

Gritty and hard on the hands but the rustic earthiness that one gets after reduction firing is amazing!
