Pots: 2013-2014

This post is retrospective. I forgive my younger, inexperienced potter self for thinking that by learning to center I had learnt the secret of making great pots!

This was my first cup with totally messed up glazes in the gas kiln.

I made many mugs! 

With handles.

...and some without.

Some pots came out well, some not so. 

One thing I definitely notice is my love for carving was pretty pronounced from the beginning, though I did not have the right tools at that time.

I tried replicating Khullads.

I made bowl look a-likes.

I tried my hand in handbuilding.

I made miniature hanging planters...

It was an exploratory year.
